    Research: urban residents want to invest in the development of public transport, cycling and walking

    YIT pilots CEEQUAL, an international rating system for sustainable development in infrastructure projects.     The joint venture of YIT and Kreate have won the bridge works for Crown Bridges project

    The City of Helsinki has chosen Kruunusillat joint venture to construct the bridges in the Crown Bridges project. Kruunusillat is a joint venture of YIT and Kreate Oy. The total value of the contract is approximately EUR 123 million, of which YIT’s share is approximately EUR 61,5 million. There is a EUR 3 million option which the City of Helsinki will decide later. The contract will be booked in the order book after the two week long appeal period. The work will start in the fall 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2025.     Tampere Tramway Ltd and the City of Tampere have appointed alliance of YIT, NRC, Sweco and AFRY to a contract for second phase of the Tampere tram network. The project is an extension for the ongoing alliance contract.
