The Yorkshire Agricultural Society’s Chief Executive, Nigel Pulling and Show Director Bill Cowling will be available for photos and interviews. Please advise in advance if you wish to arrange a time.
Press passes and car park labels are not needed for Monday 9 July, but media should park in the Yellow Car Park which is near the Media Centre

| 11.30am | Yorkshire Agricultural Society Chief Executive Nigel Pulling and Shaun Casper, the Society’s Facilities Manager, try out the new mountain biking course being set up by Mountain Bike Coaching UK and ProRide Guides as part of the Show’s Discovery Zone. (Venue: map ref D4) |
| 12 noon to 1pm | Pupils from Ainderby Steeple CE Primary School, near Northallerton and Athelstan Community Primary School, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Leeds judging cheese classes after winning the opportunity to become judges for the day at last month’s Countryside Days event (Venue: map ref D4) |
| 12.30pm | Fashion shoot with models wearing collections from some of the region’s top fashion students and up and coming designers – meet at the Skipton Building Society Fashion Pavilion (Venue: map ref F2) |
| Time tbc: | Preview of the new trophy which has been commissioned by the Society and will be presented at the Show to The Yorkshire Regiment’s Best Soldier. Photo with Simon Theakston, the Society’s Chairman and a representative from the Regiment. |
| ANYTIME | General shots of animals being prepared for the show rings, finishing touches being put to the hundreds of stands, machinery arriving, and final preparations of the showground. |
