Open Call Event at Fodder
Yorkshire suppliers are invited to showcase their wares at Fodder on Thursday 5thMarch. The award winning regional food shop and café, based on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate stocks an abundance of food and gifts from Yorkshire, and is looking to add to its ever growing list of quality suppliers.
“We often get requests asking if we would like to stock particular products and felt that an ‘Open Call’ event, where potential suppliers can simply bring their products and then spend up to ten minutes meeting our buying team was a great idea. It’s a bit like speed dating but we’re marrying up the best products with Fodder” said Managing Director Heather Parry. “A big advantage is that we will be able to evaluate the products and give feedback immediately to the producers” she added.
Over 85% of the products stocked in Fodder are from Yorkshire and the aim of the shop is to champion the best local food, drink and gifts – making shopping locally, easy. “Our customers really care about where their food comes from and we are always interested in adding new products to complement our wonderful existing suppliers and offer more local food and gifts to our customers,” continued Heather.
To attend the event, please contact enquiries@fodder.co.uk . Potential suppliers are asked to arrive between 6pm and 7.30pm with products, packaging and price information. Potential suppliers will have between five and ten minutes to showcase their products to our buying teams, which include chefs, butchers and retail managers.
