Yuma Territorial Prison hosts trick or treating, pumpkin contestYUMA, ARIZONA – An old community tradition will rise from the grave this Halloween as the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park opens its creaking iron gates to ghosts, goblins -- and trick or treaters age 12 and under. To be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Halloween (Sunday, Oct. 31), the “scary and safe” trick or treat venue is being sponsored by local, state, tribal and federal law enforcement agencies, along with the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area, which operates the prison.
