Go-live: Zalaris renews onboarding and recruiting processes at BDO

Zalaris, the provider of payroll and HR solutions that simplify work life and support creating sustainable businesses, today announced the successful go-live of the cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors solution Onboarding and redesign of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting at BDO.

Zalaris is pleased to announce the successful go-live and optimisation of the recruiting and onboarding processes at BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. The company is headquartered in Hamburg and employs more than 2,000 people across Germany.

By using the cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors solutions, the processes in recruiting and onboarding at BDO was further standardised and digitised. "Our goal is to attract highly qualified employees who fit our corporate values and give them a positive experience with our company right from the start," explains Dr. Markus Richert, Chief HR Officer at BDO.

BDO previously used the SAP SuccessFactors solutions for remuneration management (compensation) and recruiting. SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding was newly implemented in the project and a complete redesign for recruiting was carried out. In addition, the IT systems were connected, and processes were integrated. All data from recruiting to hiring is now automatically integrated via a new interface to the existing on-premise HCM.

"A particular challenge was implementing the new processes in the existing system without interrupting or impeding ongoing operations," explains Eileene Riecke, Practice Head HXM Talent Management at Zalaris. "We are proud that we were able to implement a solution tailored to our customer's individual requirements."

Zalaris will continue to accompany BDO as a partner and offer support for the live processes and develop them further.

Connection to the HCM: completely integrated tiling from recruiting to onboarding to the setting interface are transferred to the on-premise HCM.

Connection of the IT systems associated with the processes are integrated, which are all initiated from SuccessFactors, further in the direction of digitisation.
