Go-live: Zalaris supports a leading global research institute with migration to SAP S/4 HANA Treasury
With the support from Zalaris, a leading global research organisation is rapidly migrating its treasury tasks from the legacy SAP environment to SAP S/4HANA. The modern cloud solution optimises important financial processes and prepares the company for the future.
The research organisation employs more than 30 000 employees who work on an annual research budget amounting to billions. A modern treasury system is essential for the smooth processing of such large amounts.
For the conversion of the previous SAP ERP Central Component system to SAP S/4HANA in the area of treasury (BCM, Elko, currency differences), the customer relied on the expertise of Zalaris.
The biggest challenge in the project was the complex consolidation and data migration in the treasury area under the new SAP S/4HANA structures, and only minimal interruptions were allowed to occur in day-to-day business. The changeover went smoothly and the new treasury system went live at the beginning of the new year.
