Metsä Group and Zalaris celebrate the successful and seamless go-live of Zalaris PeopleHub for 26 countries
Zalaris, the provider of payroll and HR solutions that simplify work life and support creating sustainable businesses, today announced the go-live of Zalaris PeopleHub to provide global HR & payroll solutions and outsourcing services to Metsä Group’s 10,000+ employees across 26 countries.
Metsä Group is an internationally operating frontrunner in the sustainable bioeconomy and are a successful forest industry group. In January 2021, Metsä Group had signed a five-year agreement with Zalaris, and today the companies together celebrate the next milestone of this massive project.
The objective of Metsä Group was to create a unified payroll process and operating model with high-quality, secure data processing, and Zalaris PeopleHub solution exactly delivers on that. The new solution covers all Metsä Group's businesses, within all countries, and business all units.
The strategy covered the implementation of streamlined global reporting and payroll solutions with automated data flow between Metsä Group and Zalaris. The data integration from Workday, Metsä Group’s global HR system, and Zalaris PeopleHub included time data integrations from several client time management systems and posting accruals and payslips back to the client systems. The transformation of 26 local payroll solutions to Zalaris PeopleHub cloud solution was smooth. The global unified solution was implemented with quality according to the planned 24 months.
