Zalaris announces their new team for Norseman Xtreme Triathlon 2024
Zalaris, the provider of payroll and HR solutions that simplify work life and support creating sustainable businesses, announced their new team for Norseman 2024 today.
For the fifth year in a row, Zalaris proudly sponsors Norseman Xtreme Triathlon with the goal of supporting the fight against cancer, raising cancer awareness, and demonstrating the ‘robustness of what ordinary people can achieve’.
Hans-Petter Mellerud, the CEO and founder of Zalaris, triathlete and passionate ambassador of staying active will take part in the race as a part of #teamZalaris for Norseman along with Svenja Liv Mann (Germany), Nicole Müller (Germany), Lars Haugvad (Norway) and Anders Muren (Norway). As each year, the team will raise funds for Aktiv Against Cancer, 5k Your Way Initiative, provided by MOVE Charity, and Kitz Hopp Children's Cancer Center.
Last year, #teamZalaris successfully raised over 550,000 NOK with the objective of supporting these charities, promoting cancer awareness while encouraging people worldwide to stay fit, active, and healthy.
The Norseman Xtreme Triathlon is renowned globally as a challenging event that rigorously tests the mind and body. The course begins at sea level, with participants taking a 4-meter plunge off a ferry into the Hardangerfjord at the start of the race for a 3.8km swim in cold waters. Then, they bike 180km over the largest mountain plateau in Europe, Hardangervidda, and finish off with a full marathon – 42km run at an elevation of 1850 meters above sea level at Mount Gausta. Zalaris is honoured to be the title sponsor for Norseman for the fifth consecutive year.
