Zalaris CEO Hans-Petter Mellerud nominated to the final round in prestigious award

On November 28th, Hans-Petter Mellerud will be in position to bring the “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” award home to Oslo. 

EY conduct an annual search for the best entrepreneurs among Norwegian companies. This year, founder and CEO of Zalaris, Hans-Petter Mellerud, is nominated for the award. At the end of last week, he was nominated to the final round.

“I’m very happy and proud to get all the way to the final. This is recognition of the tremendous work that everybody does in Zalaris and our strong growth strategy. This is really a nomination to the entire #teamZalaris”, says Hans-Petter Mellerud.

This year marks the 16th time that EY has arranged the award in Norway, and the prize has formerly been awarded to such entrepreneurs as Petter Stordalen in 2010 and Odd Reitan in 2011.

National final
The national final will be arranged November 28th. The winner will represent Norway when the international final is arranged in Monaco next summer.

The requirements for the prize are a minimum revenue of NOK 20 million, 20 employees and 20 per cent growth during the previous two years. The independent jury consists of Åse Aulie Michelet, Hege Skryseth, Harald Tyrdal, Trond Solberg and Harald Norvik.
