Zalaris CEO Hans-Petter Mellerud Wins ‘EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2017’ award
CEO and founder of Zalaris ASA was last night named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2017. He will represent Norway when the global winner is awarded in Monaco next year.
Hans-Petter Mellerud won the “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” award on November 28th after he also received the winning award in the category “Services”. Mellerud will be one out of 50 country winners to be nominated for ‘EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2018 Award’ in Monaco June 13th-17th 2018.

Zalaris delivers cloud based technology, consulting and outsourcing services that covers all aspects of payroll and Human Capital Management processes including recruiting and onboarding, global master data, talent management, time and attendance, travel expenses and payroll. Customers are served with one common multi country cloud solution supported by local competent resources.
Zalaris has developed from being a start-up to now being publicly listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange with an annual turnover close to NOK 730m in 2017. Over the past six months, Zalaris has acquired the German company sumarum AG and the UK company ROC Global Solution Consulting Limited, increasing its presences to all over Europe.
Every year EY conduct an annual search for the best entrepreneurs among Norwegian companies. This year marks the 16th time that EY has arranged the award in Norway, and the prize has formerly been awarded to entrepreneurs such as Petter Stordalen and Odd Reitan.
The requirements for the prize are a minimum revenue of NOK 20 million, 20 employees and 20 per cent growth during the previous two years. The independent jury consists of Åse Aulie Michelet, Hege Skryseth, Harald Tyrdal, Trond Solberg and Harald Norvik.
