Zalaris nominated for Rising Star award
In the beginning of December Zalaris will fight for the “Rising Star” stock exchange award in the annual European Small and Mid-cap Awards.
It all goes down on 9 December in Brussels when Zalaris, along with 11 other listed companies in Europe, will compete in four different categories in connection with the European Small and Mid-cap Awards. Zalaris is nominated for this year's “Rising Star” award.
“Obviously, we are proud of being nominated for the award and view this as recognition of the company's growth strategy,” says entrepreneur and CEO Hans-Petter Mellerud of Zalaris.
Zalaris has seen strong growth in every quarter since listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange. For example, growth in revenue in Q2/15 compared to Q2/14 was almost 30 per cent, and a huge 57 per cent compared to Q2/13. Since listing in June last year, investors have seen returns of more than 65 per cent.
The Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) and European Issuers are behind the awards, along with the European Commission. The jury includes members from academia, the financial industry and the media, and four awards are presented to the most promising companies that have gained access to the capital market through a stock exchange listing in recent years.
“We have invested a lot of time and resources in developing our solutions, and this is beginning to pay off through strong growth in our customer portfolio. The nomination is also a pat on the back to ABG Sundal Collier and Nordea, who were involved in the stock exchange listing, as well as our own financial department,” Mellerud says.
In this year's “Rising star” class, Zalaris is up against French company Plantet FR and Polish company Selvita. Zalaris will present its Q3 results on Wednesday 28 October, and will celebrate 500 days as a listed company a few days later, on 2 November.
