Zengun continues Haga Norra’s development together with Fabege

Zengun has signed a contract with Fabege for new construction of an office building with an underground garage totalling approximately 42,000 sqm with the project name Haga Norra Kv. 1. The order volume amounts to approximately SEK 1 billion. The project is the next property in Fabege’s development of Haga Norra, where Zengun previously built a modern showroom and office for the tenant Bilia, with housing that is currently ongoing.

The property will be certified BREEAM Excellent, which is in line with Zengun’s sustainability vision to develop and produce environmentally certified properties. The property’s architecture has an industrial look with facades made from reused bricks, large transom windows and other timeless material choices. Kvarter 1 is designed with two attractive glass-roofed courtyards that be used as shared spaces for tenants, with vibrant ground floors full of restaurants and cafes. Also worth noting is that the contract includes building Hållbarhetshuset (Eng: The Sustainability Building), largely from reused material from the previous Bilia property that Zengun demolished during the year. High-density fibreboard, parts of the facade, windows, aggregate and various furnishings are example of reuse that are part of the demolition process.
