Zivid introduces 3D camera mounts
OSLO, Norway, July 6, 2020 – Zivid, the 3D machine vision camera company, has begun the introduction of a range of precision accessories designed to simplify on-robot and stationary mounting of its Zivid One+ high-definition 3D color camera.
For robot arm mounting, Zivid provides a camera mount, bracket, and optional extender, initially to the ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 coupling plate standard. To meet various robot arms and gripper types requirements, designers paid special attention to weight, robustness, and flexibility. All accessories are machined from black anodized aluminum.
The compact robot arm camera bracket also comes complete with a detachable cable guide with strain relief to support the requisite data and power cabling. Zivid is also offering integrators a choice of 5m and 10m power cables, as well as 5m, 10m, and 25m data cables.
For stationary mounting, Zivid has designed a unique reconfigurable pan and tilt camera mount so users can accurately target their 3D cameras. The novel feature enables tilt-roll operation in addition to pan-tilt. A single locking screw is used to adjust and lock-in the 2 rotational axes.
