“Broadcast USA is at the convergence of new technological advances in broadcasting and in telecommunications. This grant enables BroadcastAZ to provide superior training that will enhance the skill sets of many local professionals,” said Bonnie Adams, Broadcast USA’s director of operations. “Scottsdale’s unique business environment, technology corridor and highly skilled work force were driving factors in our desire to open our first HD Broadcast Center. This grant will expand our presence in the community.”
Brad Dick, Broadcast Engineering magazine editor, said “the robotic-camera systems are increasingly in use and vastly improved, with faster and more precise controls of the cameras. A control room in any location can operate with video feeds from a variety of locations and have only one production crew instead of one at each location,” Dick said.
Mark Lowden, Azzurro HD vice president of sales, said “the robotic-camera system has been employed for a variety of sports-broadcasting uses. The NFL Network has 48 systems in use at all of the team training facilities, including for the Arizona Cardinals, and at the homes of its football analysts. All of the systems can be controlled from the network's broadcast center in Culver City, Calif.,” Lowden said.
“There has been a rapidly emerging convergence of broadcasting and telecommunication which is the direct result of the ongoing development of digital technologies,” said Bonnie Adams, director of operations for BroadcastAZ.
“As Scottsdale continues its strong economic recovery, we are thrilled that BroadcastAZ has decided to join the growing list of companies that have chosen to make Scottsdale their home,” said Mayor W.J. ‘Jim’ Lane. “BroadcastAZ fits well into Scottsdale’s growing technology industry and we wish them nothing but continued success.”
“There has been a rapidly emerging convergence of broadcasting and telecommunication which is the direct result of the ongoing development of digital technologies,” said Bonnie Adams, director of operations for BroadcastAZ. “We have made improvements in our traditional HD studio by fostering and promoting the breakthroughs in media broadcast markets including breaking news, financial industries, public company communication with financial analysts, annual meetings and shareholder media advisories, along with satellite media tours.”
“In addition, BroadcastAZ has purchased the revolutionary Azzurro HD Camera System to install in our newly constructed live broadcast Studio A. The studio itself has acoustic foam walls that also double as a ‘blue screen’ studio, flat screen monitors (HD), superior sound and studio lighting, and a green room with full make-up area,” added Collins.
