SAN FRANCISCO, CA— April 19, 2013, has been proclaimed Museum of the History of Polish Jews Day by the City and County of San Francisco.  This date marks the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and opening day of the state-of-the-art museum in Warsaw, Poland.  The proclamation recognizes the wide-reaching influence of this museum, which showcases one thousand years of Jewish history in Poland.
