Rabbalshede Kraft granted environmental permit for Årjäng Northwest II wind farm in Municipality of Årjäng

The Årjäng Northwest II wind farm in the Municipality of Årjäng has granted an environmental permit. The wind farm encompasses up to eight turbines corresponding to a power of 28 MW and a total height of 200 meters.

The application documents were submitted to the County Administrative Board in the County of Örebro in October 2013. The Municipality of Årjäng subsequently approved the wind farm, which is a prerequisite for securing approval from the Country Administrative Board under the Swedish Environmental Code. The County Administrative Board in the County of Örebro granted the environmental permit in June 2014, the permit has now gained legal force.

Årjäng Northwest I compromises nine turbines of model Vestas 112-3 MW, construction in progress for completion by late 2014.
