Antidepressant use increases risk of head injuries among persons with Alzheimer’s disease

Antidepressant use is associated with an increased risk of head injuries and traumatic brain injuries among persons with Alzheimer’s disease, according to a new study from the University of Eastern Finland. Antidepressant use has previously been linked with an increased risk of falls and hip fractures, but the risk of head injuries has not been studied before. Continued growth in air travel during July

A total of 2,560,000 passengers flew to or from Stockholm Arlanda Airport in July, which is a nine per cent increase compared to the same month last year. About 2,200,000 of these passengers flew to or from international destinations, up ten per cent from 2016, while 360,000 flew to or from domestic destinations, up five per cent.
