New turnkey supplier for award-winning school and treatment group

Advania Sweden is the new IT supplier for the school and treatment group Magelungen. Through collaboration with Advania, Magelungen wants to streamline their way of working, simplify and improve IT support for students and staff, and gain a better oversight of the IT environment.

“We need a partner who can grow with us, and we’ve found it in Advania – who are located in all the areas where Magelungen have operations”, says Emil Josefsson, IT Coordinator at Magelungen.

Magelungen has a distinct cloud strategy – using virtually no locally-installed software, the group is free from servers and local directory services. The company has grown steadily since its conception and has been named by Dagens Industri a ‘Master Gazelle’ – a title given to businesses that have achieved a ‘Gazelle Business’ status three or more times. Today Magelungen is located in twelve cities in Sweden and their cloud strategy makes it easy to continue expanding the business without being forced into time-consuming hardware investments.

Through collaboration with Advania as a turnkey supplier, Magelungen aim to increase standardization across IT. The costs that were previously on different accounts with separate suppliers are now together in one place – while, for example, the networks are combined and strengthened with better security.
