World’s most popular tech blogger at the Advania Fall Conference
Tim Urban from Wait But Why, Tiffani Bova from Salesforce and Ingibjörg Þórðardóttir from CNN will be among the keynote speakers at the 2018 Advania Fall Conference in Reykjavík.
The Advania Fall Conference is the longest running annual technology conference in Europe and among the largest IT events in Iceland. This is the 24th conference, and the agenda this year will be one of the most impressive. The keynote speakers at the conference are innovative and stem from various fields of the technology sector.
Tim Urban is one of the most extensively read technology bloggers on the Internet and manages the highly popular page Wait But Why. There, he tackles a wide range of topics, anything from procrastination to complex technological solutions, examining them from a uniquely human perspective. Urban’s talk will focus on the question of whether inventiveness is of any value when automation and technological solutions have replaced numerous professions.
Tiffani Bova is Salesforce’s global evangelist on customer growth and innovation. At the conference, she will be discussing the way companies can increase sales and strengthen business relations using new work practices and technology. She will be sharing useful tips on how businesses can adapt their operations to the customer and thereby build long-term goodwill.
Ingibjörg Þórðardóttir, Executive Editor for CNN Digital International, will be sharing her experience of digital distribution. She will be discussing how to bring news to a fragmented audience.
In a chaotic environment, Ingibjörg has been an advocate of defining a course and following it steadfastly.
The conference will be held in the world-famous concert hall Harpa in Reykjavík. There will be almost fifty speakers at the conference, and the subject matter will include technology, development, security issues, exciting solutions and crackpot ideas.
