AFRY to support clean energy transmission in Germany
ARGE ILF and Arcadis have chosen AFRY to contribute to the German Rhine-Main Link – a 600 kilometer underground cable connection to transport clean energy from offshore wind farms to the Rhine-Main region.Germany wants to become climate neutral by 2045 and significantly expand the share of renewable energy. This requires offshore wind farms to produce green electricity, as well as new lines to transport it.
