Arise initiates Phase 2 of Jädraås project
The planned investment decision for Phase 2 of the Jädraås project, involving the construction of a further 70 MW (23 turbines), has now been taken by the Board of Directors of Arise. Phase 1 comprises 130 MW (43 turbines) and construction is proceeding as planned.
The total investment for Phase 1 and 2 is SEK 3.1 billion. The project is owned in equal shares by Arise and Platina Partners LLP and is fully funded.
The Jädraås wind farm is one of northern Europe’s largest onshore wind farms with a planned annual production of 560 GWh of renewable electricity, of which Arise will account for half.
When the Jädraås wind farm is fully operational in spring 2013 Arise will have 240 MW in operation with a total annual production of about 640 GWh of renewable electricity, including the company’s share in the Jädraås project.
