Atea acquires IT infrastructure company with a strong market position in Northern Sweden

(Sweden) Atea AB in Sweden has entered into agreement to acquire Exait AB with 91 employees and revenue of MSEK 129 (MNOK 112) and EBITDA of MSEK 9.7 (MNOK 8.4) in the 13 month fiscal year which ended 30 September 2012.

Exait is recognized for its strong service organization, which is covering the northernmost region of Sweden with offices in Luleå, Piteå, Skellefteå, Kiruna and Stockholm. Due to the focus on services, the share of services revenue is 65% of total revenue. The company was established in 2000 and has since then had a successful growth track record.

The acquisition will strengthen Ateas market position in the Northern region of Sweden and scale up the service organization within this region considerably.

The acquired company is expected to deliver revenue of MSEK 132 (MNOK 114) and EBITDA of MSEK 8.6 (MNOK 7.4) in the fiscal year ending 30 September 2013.

Atea acquires 100% of the shares from the management, key employees and external shareholders. All management team members and key employees will continue in Atea.

The agreed enterprise value of MSEK 46.5 (MNOK 40.2) will be paid at closing.

The transaction is subject to approval from several minority shareholders, and is expected to have effect within 1 month period from this announcement.
