Atea acquires leading system integrator in Denmark

(Denmark) Atea has entered into agreement to acquire Axcess A/S, which is the leading system integrator within IT networks in Denmark.

Axcess is a competence driven system integrator within the business areas of IT networks and network security, datacenter and collaboration and has 190 employees. The competences are especially strong within IT networks and network security. The company has since its establishment in 2000 been headquartered in Copenhagen and has an office in Aarhus.

Axcess has a successful growth track record, highly competent employees and strong concepts as well as a solid customer contract base. The company delivered revenue of MDKK 586 (MNOK 682) and EBITDA of MDKK 40 (MNOK 47) in the fiscal year ending 30 June 2014, and is expected to deliver revenue of MDKK 735 (MNOK 855) and EBITDA of MDKK 52 (MNOK 61) in the current fiscal year.

The acquisition will strengthen Atea's position within the IT networks and network security business in Denmark as Axcess complements Atea's current offering within this business area perfectly. Atea's current business has been focused on products and operations, whereas Axcess has had a competence approach focused on services and consulting.

Atea has acquired 100% of the shares from the management and key employees. All management team members and key employees will continue in Atea.

The agreed enterprise value is MDKK 317 (MNOK 369). The transaction is subject to approval of the Danish competition authorities, which is expected within the next month.
