Atea chosen to deliver tablets to Danish government organizations

(Denmark) Atea A/S in Denmark has entered into a frame agreement with a group of government organizations on delivery of tablets. The agreement is valid for two years, with the option to extend to a further 1 + 1 year. During the two years contract period, the agreement has a total value of approximately DKK 50 million (NOK 56 million).

The agreement includes purchase of tablets and accessories, and employees of the following government organizations will have the opportunity to have tablets from Atea:

  • The Danish National Police
  • Director of Public Prosecutions
  • Danish Ministry of Defence
  • The Danish Court Administration
  • Department of Prison and Probation
  • The Danish Immigration Service
  • Ministry of Justice
  • The Department of Civil Affaris
  • The Press Council
  • The Medico Legal Council
  • The Independent Police Complaints Authority
  • Skattesagskommissionen
  • Statsløsekommissionen
  • Irak og Afghanistankommissionen

The agreement will have effect as of 13 February 2014
