Atea delivers situation awareness management system for the Finnish Defense Forces

(Finland) Atea has entered into an agreement with Finnish Defense Forces Logistic Command for delivery of situation awareness management and presentation system. The system gathers and combines information from different sources to be used on a single workstation and it shows and transfers voice and image between different locations. The estimated value of the agreement is EUR 9 million (NOK 78 million).

"The agreement further deepens the partnership between the Finnish Defense Forces and Atea. It's a result of Atea's systematic work to serve the defense sector. The agreement proves Atea's ability to operate as an integrator in large scale deliveries of tailored IT systems," says Juha Sihvonen, Managing Director of Atea Finland.

The agreement will take effect in February 2015.
