ATEA signs agreement with NAV

(Norway) Atea AS signs agreement with the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV) for products and services to their networking solution.

The purpose of the agreement is to ensure future development of the networking solution, and enable establishment of new data communication services for NAV.

The agreement is estimated to have an annual value of MNOK 40-60 and will remain in force for 4 years, with the possibility for up to 2 years extension.

Atea shall deliver data communication access to approximately 670 offices in Norway, with redundant access to central datacenters and fiber links between them. In addition, Atea shall deliver services, software and network equipment supporting the solution.

Atea won this contract because the company had the most economically advantageous offer. The award criteria emphasized cost with 40% and quality with 60%.
