Atea strengthens corporate management

Following six years of impressive growth Atea has outlined a new strategic direction called "Together Towards The Top". In this connection, Atea has decided to strengthen the corporate management.

Managing Director in Atea AS in Norway over the past six years, Steinar Sønsteby, will from 1 October 2012 take on the role as Executive senior Vice President of Atea ASA. Steinar Sønsteby's successor will be Dag Fodstad, who over the past six years has held the role as Director of Marketing, Partner and Business Development in Norway and has been a part of the Norwegian management team.

In close cooperation with the countries, Steinar Sønsteby will be responsible for conducting joint activities across the Group for overall sales, marketing, logistics/purchasing and supplier's strategy to ensure better utilization of synergies within the Group.

In addition to Country Managers, the corporate management going forward will include:
CEO - Claus Hougesen
Executive senior Vice President Sales and Product - Steinar Sønsteby
Executive senior Vice President Services and Solutions - Peter Trans
CFO - Rune Falstad

As of 1 October 2012, Dag Fodstad will take on the role as Managing Director of Atea AS. To maintain continuity and the strong performance in Norway, Steinar Sønsteby will take on the role as Chairman of the Board of Atea AS. Dag Fodstad was born in 1961 and has more than 20 years of experience from the IT industry. Fodstad has over the past twelve years been employed at Atea and over the past six years he has been working in close collaboration with Steinar Sønsteby. Dag Fodstad has a Master of Business and Economics from The Norwegian School of Management (BI).
