(DK) Atea has been awarded a frame agreement for consultancy and delivery of Microsoft software to 25 large public institutions in the Danish State, including the Danish Defense, SKAT and ministries. The agreement runs for three years with a total value of minimum DKK 436 million.

The agreement makes Atea exclusive supplier when the public clients need software from Microsoft. Atea's large team of software specialists will be advising the State on Microsoft licenses and related technologies as part of larger IT solutions, securing the State optimal value from its IT investments.

"We are very happy that Atea has been chosen in strong competition with other suppliers. Our strategy is to grow twice the market in the areas of hardware, software and services, and this frame agreement is an important step in that strategy. It is a strong
recognition of our market-leading competencies in Microsoft software, and we look forward to creating value as a good advisor to the Danish State," says Morten Felding, Managing Director of Atea A/S (Denmark).
