Discussions with private equity fund discontinued

On 17 October 2012, Atea ASA (the "Company") announced in response to certain media enquiries that the Company and certain of its shareholders were in discussions with a private equity fund regarding a potential recommended offer for the shares of the Company. The discussions have now been discontinued as it has not been possible to reach a final agreement between the potential offeror and the largest shareholder of the Company, Systemintegration ApS. Consequently, a final agreement between the potential offeror and the Company has not been reached either.
