(Sweden) Atea in Sweden has, as one of five suppliers, been chosen by SKL Kommentus Inköpscentral for software delivery. The agreement is valid for 24 months, with the possibility of extension for a further 12 + 12 months. The agreement has an estimated annual total value of approximately SEK 280 million (NOK 254 million), divided between the five suppliers.

The agreement includes software from Microsoft, IBM, Novell and Citrix, as well as services. Atea has the highest ranking among the suppliers. SKL Kommentus Inköpscentral coordinates the procurements of the Swedish municipalities, counties and regions.

Atea was previously the sole supplier in the agreement with SKL Kommentus Inköpscentral for software, and the agreement only included Microsoft products. Atea expects to continue to have a turnover at the same level as before.

The decision may be appealed within ten days from 19 June.
