Members of the Raising and Giving (RAG) group Nottingham Karnival have been nominated for Breast Cancer Campaign’s ‘RAG of the Year’ award after raising the incredible amount in 2010 by collecting donations on the streets of towns and cities across the UK.

Derby collector raises just under £10,000 for breast cancer charity

A Raising and Giving (RAG) collector from Nottingham has raised almost £10,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign this year, after hitting streets across the UK to raise money for the charity. Adam George-Wood, who has raised money for Campaign for ten years, collected donations on various city streets throughout 2010, raising money to help the charity continue funding vital research into breast cancer.
