‘i’ on the prize for Good Garage Scheme customer
An in-car entertainment specialist scooped a state-of-the-art gadget of his own, thanks to the UK-wide Good Garage Scheme.
Jaguar project engineer Shrenik Chikani won an Apple iPad after downloading the Good Garage Scheme app from the organisation’s website www.goodgaragescheme.com.
The married father-of-one from Coventry landed the prize after his name was drawn first in the competition which ran throughout the UK.
He said: “I didn’t download the app to win a prize so it was really exciting to win because it’s a really nice gadget. I couldn’t believe I’d won and it was a really great surprise. I have a background in engineering and work in in-car entertainment so I’m always keen to get my hands on new gadgets.”
Launched by Forté over four years ago, the Good Garage Scheme’s membership comprises of independent garages and workshops where customers are assured of service excellence. Mr Chikani downloaded the app to find his nearest Good Garage Scheme member to carry out work on his vehicle.
He added: “I had heard about the Good Garage Scheme a lot and the app I downloaded was really good at showing where my nearest garages are to work on my car.”
