CalPortland Mojave Plant Recognized by Southern California Edison for Energy Savings

MOJAVE CA - On June 5th, Southern California Edison (SCE) Senior Account Manager Bob Kniss  presented a rebate check in the amount of $524,367.09 to Ronald DuMond, Mojave Cement Plant Manager and Bruce Shafer, Senior Vice President of Cement Operations. This rebate represents only a portion of the total energy savings incentive for a major energy management project at the Mojave Cement Plant. SCE collaborates with their customers to provide financial incentives for projects that provide true energy efficiency.  This large rebate is approximately 60% of the total expected rebate from SCE
