Q3 – Consulting companies remain strong
Listed consulting companies continue to show exceptional growth figures during the third quarter. Demand is good, although differs between industries.
- The consulting industry remains strong, with average companies growing by up to 20 percent compared to last year. Although several acquisitions pushed the numbers up, organic growth remained strong. With more employees and larger partner deals, in combination with higher prices and a buoyant market, we are witnessing a positive effect on growth, says Mattias Loxi, co-founder and marketing manager at Cinode, the market leader in Skills Management for consulting companies.
Addnode, Gofore and Exsitec grew the most rapidly.
Companies take on more employees
Three out of four consulting companies have grown on more employees during the past three months. Since the turn of the year, only three have reduced their workforce.
- We are starting to see greater differences between companies in terms of profitability and growth. Initially, for the first nine months, profitability declined for most. This is largely being brought about by companies once again organizing conferences and more physical meetings, Mattias Loxi continues.
Softronic, B3 Consulting och Prevas have had the highest margins so far this year.
