Climeon’s Heat Power modules have successfully passed the sea trials for Virgin Voyages’ second ship,
Valiant Lady.

Climeon has passed a new milestone as Virgin Voyages’ second ship Valiant Lady, including the Climeon Heat Power modules, has successfully completed sea trials.

- I am very happy to have reached this milestone and I am proud of our employees for completing the installation onboard the Valiant Lady despite the challenges added by the pandemic this past year, says Jan Bardell, CEO of Climeon.

Climeon has been onboard the Valiant Lady for sea trials, sailing from Genoa to Marseille and back. The Heat Power modules performed as expected and were approved in the sea trials. Valiant Lady is scheduled to operate her inaugural season in summer 2021 and sail weekly Mediterranean itineraries.

In addition to Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady, Climeon has delivered Heat Power modules to Virgin Voyages and Fincantieri’s third ship, Resilient Lady, which is currently being built in Italy. During spring 2021, Climeon is also delivering Heat Power modules to the fourth ship Fincantieri is building for Virgin Voyages.
