Today, VH Global Sustainable Energy Opportunities plc ("GSEO”), a London-listed investment company advised by Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP ("Victory Hill"), announced a commitment to fund innovative net-zero flexible power generation projects in the UK, which support the energy transition towards more renewable power generation. Climeon has been in collaboration with Landmark Power Holdings Ltd. to support the design and optimization of a ready-made concept that can be utilized by project developers who build, install and own similar power plants.

The concept can reduce power plant emissions substantially and will serve as a balancing power to weather-dependent sources such as wind and solar power. This solution will play an important role in building a more resilient and sustainable power infrastructure in the UK electricity grid.

  • We are proud to be a technical provider in this project and to support the transition towards renewable power generation, says Lena Sundquist, CEO Climeon.
  • The waste heat recovery process from land-based and marine engines is, from a product perspective, very similar. For this reason, we see great opportunity in this project in terms of our maritime focus, says Jonas Måhlén, Head of R&D Climeon.
