Diaverum to present at EDTNA/ERCA Conference in Dresden
Munich / Dresden – 25 September 2015: Diaverum, one of the leading renal care providers worldwide, is exhibiting at the 44th EDTNA/ERCA Conference in Dresden, Germany. The conference takes place from 26-29 September and is focused on ‘Quality and Safety in Renal Care’.
“Quality and Safety are key topics for Diaverum. At the conference, we are showing for example our comprehensive Patient Education programme. With this programme, we are empowering renal patients and thus increasing quality and safety for them,” explains Christina Sterner, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer at Diaverum, who initiated this programme a few years ago. “Educated patients can take an active role in their health and increase their quality of life,” she adds.
The Diaverum booth is situated in the main exhibition hall of the congress centre, no 13/15. Interested visitors can test the Patient Education programme at the booth and learn how renal patients benefit from this programme.
“At Diaverum we always strive to give the best medical treatment possible while looking at the patient as a whole - revitalising body and soul. This is reflected in all our programmes and our Touch that makes the difference,” says Christina Sterner. Medical staff interested in working with Diaverum can find information and HR representatives at the booth.
Showcasing the scientific approach of Diaverum, Prof Giovanni Strippoli, Scientific Director and Chairman of the Diaverum Academy will give a speech entitled “Summarising evidence: the role of systematic reviews” in the Open Forum on Monday, 28th September, at 2 pm.
The EDTNA/ERCA is a multi-disciplinary organisation within renal care. The annual conference is a meeting spot for healthcare professionals, service leaders, academics, researchers, people with renal disease and industry partners who come together to share innovations and knowledge. It is also a forum for sharing the best research and innovations in practice and helps in initiating and promoting quality renal research and practice around the world. This year’s conference takes place in Dresden, Germany.
