DreamHack PUBG Showdown Returns for Fall Edition with $15,000 Prize Pool

Open Qualifiers to Begin September 21; Main Event to Begin September 26

STOCKHOLM — DreamHack today announced another installation of its PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) tournament, DreamHack PUBG Showdown. The tournament, which will feature a $15,000 prize pool,  will once again be run as an all-online competition.

 

DreamHack PUBG Showdown Fall is open to all European teams. The tournament will begin with open qualifiers on

Monday, September 21, 2020, and conclude with the grand final on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Broadcasts, led by experienced PUBG talent, will be available from the beginning of the tournaments’ Main stages from September 26 onward.

 

The 16 top teams of the qualifier are awarded with a spot in Stage 1 of the Main tournament. From there, eight teams will advance to Stage 2 where they will be joined by the top 16 teams from PUBG Continental Series 2.
