EG Components Denmark was consolidated into the group as from 1 July. The net sales of the company during the third quarter amounted to MSEK 11.7. The result of the continuing weak telecom market was that the stock which was purchased at the end of 2000 was written down by MSEK 20.

Pressrelease 2001 10 19 ElektronikGruppen's business area EG Production Technology has received an order for Datacon Die Bonder from Optillion AB, value 4,1 MSEK. The machine is a part of a product line for manufacturing of fiberoptic transceiver. The market for microelectronics is increasing though recession. EG Production Technology has so far booked orders for a total value of 21 MSEK regarding equipment for microelectronics in Sweden, Finland and Czech Republic. ElektronikGruppen's business area EG Communication has received an order from the consortium "Norrsken" for delivery of fiber optic transmission equipment to their fiber optic network, which covers middle/north part of Sweden. Installation of this equipment means that Norrsken will be able to offer its customers a redundant net. Delivery and installation are estimated to end of September. ElektronikGruppen expands in Norway ElektronikGruppen has reached a principle agreement to acquire Henaco A/S in Norway. Henaco A/S has a turnover of 50 MSEK within component sales. The intention is to coordinate Henaco with ElektronikGruppen's component company in Norway. The joint turnover is expected to reach appr 100 MSEK for 2001.
