In cases of cardiac arrest, rapid cardiopulmonary resuscitation and access to a defibrillator are critical for survival – every minute counts. While waiting for an ambulance, Everdrone’s new drone can arrive in under three minutes carrying a defibrillator.

We can now contribute to faster delivery of life-saving equipment and improved decision support in the Stockholm region. It is encouraging that another Swedish region is now taking the step to introduce drone technology as a complement to emergency medical services.

The new board members will support Everdrone’s next steps to accelerate growth and scale our drone-based solutions to additional regions, healthcare systems, and markets.

Healthcare needs to continue evolving with new technology that works in real-world conditions. Drones can become a natural complement in the emergency care pathway when minutes make a difference.

That the Centre Party leader is showing such active interest in how we can use new technology to make emergency healthcare more efficient is something we at Everdrone hope will inspire more politicians to see the same potential. Our long-term goal is to make this technology and its medical benefits available throughout Europe.

Having our system now used in live emergency calls in Normandy demonstrates how quickly DEMS technology can create tangible value. Together with our regional partners, we are taking an important step toward giving more patients life-saving support several minutes earlier than is possible today.

In cases of cardiac arrest, every minute is critical, and the ability to place an AED on-site several minutes earlier can directly influence a patient’s chance of survival. By integrating Everdrone’s DEMS system into our dispatch chain, we gain a valuable complement that strengthens our ability to act quickly in the most time-sensitive situations. The project in Normandy shows that drone deliveries can become a natural and effective part of the emergency medical care of the future.

With Erik as Head of Sales, we’re reinforcing our commercial capacity at an important stage in our growth journey to meet rising demand and drive international expansion. Expanding to an area outside controlled airspace is a major step forward. It demonstrates the scalability of our technology and how it can be deployed in diverse environments. This paves the way for broader adoption of life-saving drone services across more regions

The LifeLine consortium is excited to join the CAA’s RPAS Integration Sandbox to advance UAS operations and shape future airspace regulations. This project is key to using drones for emergency medical services, delivering medical equipment faster than ever before, and providing live camera feeds to first responders, ultimately saving lives.

The emergency drone service is not meant to supplement local emergency services, but rather to complement it. Every minute lost without defibrillation reduces the survival chances with 10%, so if you don’t happen to suffer a cardiac arrest close to emergency service personnel, the chances of survival are slim - We want to change that

This study closes the door on any remaining questions regarding the system’s feasibility. As it was conducted over a longer period of time and recreated the same data – even improving results over time – we can confidently state that it delivers on what’s promised, that it is a well-functioning transport solution.

Our collaboration with Everdrone to initiate implementation of this technology is a first for an air ambulance charity in the UK. The technology is already making a viable difference to patient outcomes in other countries, so this is an important step in our ambition to help save the lives of even more people in communities across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

Everdrone is proud to be in collaboration with KSS to bring this new life-saving drone technology to the UK. We are working together towards successful implementation with KSS, a team of world-leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service pioneers and key opinion leaders within pre-hospital emergency care.
