FALKEN extends partnership with the Red Bull Air Race Team

Tyre company Falken will extend its sponsorship of Red Bull Air Race pilot Yoshihide Muroya into 2016. Muroya will enter the Master Class of the 2016 Red Bull Air Race Championship, representing Team Falken for the second season in the world’s fastest form of motorsports.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features top international pilots flying at speeds of up to 370 km/h through a slalom course of “air gates” – 25m high air-filled pylons. The pilots’ spectacular progress through these air gates tests their precision and speed to the limit. The race is officially recognised by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (World Air Sports Federation).

The talented Yoshihide “Yoshi” Muroya is an outstanding aerobatics pilot who has already honed his skills in numerous races throughout the world. Muroya scooped two podiums in 2015 to finish sixth overall in the Master Class category of last year’s Red Bull Air Race.
