Balder acquires three properties in central Stockholm from Fabege and issues preference shares
Fastighets AB Balder (publ) has acquired the properties Skeppshandeln 1 in Hammarby Sjöstad, Murmästaren 7 on Kungsholmstorg and Fiskaren Större 3 on Götgatan. The acquisitions were made in company form to an underlying property value of SEK 815 million.
The project property Skeppshandeln 1 is in principle fully let and is sold during production, which will be completed by Fabege. Skeppshandeln 1 contains approximately 13,700 sqm of lettable area spread over hotels, shops and offices plus garages. The project is expected to be completed in June 2014.
Murmästaren 7 is located on Kungsholmen. The property covers approximately 3,000 sqm office and retail space.
Fiskaren Större 3 is located on Götgatan and covers approximately 2,600 sqm of which over half are residential and the remaining area is allocated to offices and shops.
The Board has, with the authorization from the Annual General Meeting, decided to partially finance the acquisition with a private placement of 500,000 preference shares at a subscription price of SEK 321 per preference share, which corresponds to the volume weighted average closing price during the last three trading days for Balder preference share on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm rounded down to the nearest integer.
