Balder raise green funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB)

Fastighets AB Balder has signed a loan agreement of EUR 100 million with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the development of two residential projects in Copenhagen with nearly-zero-energy-building (NZEB) standards.

Balder has several ongoing residential projects, all with high environmental requirements. Energy consumption is a priority area and all Balder’s residential projects in Sweden must meet the requirements for Miljöbyggnad Silver. In Copenhagen, we have chosen to go even further, and all residentials shall be built in accordance with nearly-zero-energy-building (NZEB) standard. As part of the environmental work, Balder has now chosen to raise green funding through the EIB.
