At the end of January, delicious new flavours will take over shops across the country, when Fazer Bakery is launching a variety of fibre-rich and tasty breads. The novelty selection also includes gluten-free Reissumies, gorgeous Pullava buttery buns and mouth-watering cakes made from Fazer’s sweets Pätkis and Fazerina. The in-store bake-off units will have a new, cheesy snack. 

Fazer Puikula Kuiturikas Kaura (fibre-rich oat bread) 6 pcs 330 g

The porridge that forms the basis of the bread dough gives the bread a soft and rich structure that feels fresh for several days. In addition to its delicious taste, this novelty is rich in fibre (9.1%). The grain used in baking the product is 60% wholegrain and 75% oats. Available in shops from 30/01/2024.

Psst! Did you know? Fazer Puikula Kuiturikas Kaura is baked on Fazer Vantaa bakery’s energy-efficient line, which reduces the Vantaa bakery’s carbon dioxide emissions. With it, the carbon dioxide emissions were reduced by about 8% last year. The new portion bread line also prevents waste more effectively than before with the help of a recycling device. Shaping the dough into portion bread slices results in surplus dough when the dough from the edges is discarded. This surplus dough is immediately transferred back to the dough with the help of the recycling device, so there is almost no surplus.

Oululainen Reissumies Tosi Tumma Ruisrieska (rye flatbread) 6 pcs 270 g

The new Reissumies Tosi Tumma Ruisrieska has a touch of sweetness and smokiness. A short baking time ensures a soft texture. Made from Finnish grain, the rye flatbread contains 29% wholegrain and is made with genuine rye starter at Fazer’s Vantaa bakery. Available in shops from 30/01/2024.

Oululainen Jälkiuuni Ohut Täysjyväkaura (thin wholegrain oat) 6 pieces 280 g

The thin version of the beloved Jälkiuuni Täysjyväkaura contains 100% wholegrain and is baked at Fazer’s Lahti bakery from Finnish grain. The product has been granted the Finnish Heart Association’s Heart Symbol. Available in shops from 30/01/2024.

Fazer Bistro Hapanjuurileipä (sourdough bread) 600 g

Fazer Bistro Hapanjuurileipä has a rich and slightly chewy texture as well as an aromatic, delicious taste created by a sourdough starter and the dough’s long resting time. Oats and linseed give the bread a nice character. The whole grain content of the bread is 11%. Available in shops from 30/01/2024.

Oululainen Reissumies Gluteeniton (gluten-free) 3 pcs 210 g

Reissumies Gluteeniton is a round portion bread that has just the right amount of softness in its texture but a characteristic taste. Reissumies Gluteeniton is made with genuine starter, and its main ingredient is Finnish buckwheat. The whole grain content of the bread baked at Fazer’s gluten-free bakery in Lahti is 41%. Available in shops from 30/01/2024.

Oululainen Pullava Voisilmäpulla (sweet buttery bun) 5 pcs 270 g

Pullava’s most popular flavour of sweet white loaf, sweet butter, has now been turned into a sweet bun that your taste buds will love. The centre of the soft cardamom bun contains a buttery filling that will melt in your mouth. All Oululainen Pullava products are baked in Finland without palm oil. Available in shops from 30/01/2024.

Fazer Pätkis cake 380 g

The Pätkis cake has soft mint chocolate mousse and a mint chocolate coating on top of a dark cake base. Chocolate sprinkles complete the delicious look. The product is gluten-free, low in lactose and made in Finland. Available in shops from 29/02/2024.

Fazer Fazerina cake 380 g

The Fazerina cake has mouth-watering orange chocolate mousse and a gorgeously glittery frosting on top of a dark cake base. The beautiful appearance is crowned by a chocolate Fazer logo. The product is lactose- and gluten-free and is made in Finland. Available in shops from 29/02/2024.

The in-store bake-off unit gets a new filling cheesy treat

Fazer Cheddarjuustokierre (cheddar twist) 85 g

Fazer Cheddarjuustokierre is a filling and tasty snack baked from yeast-leavened puff pastry. The twist has a cheddar cheese filling and is topped with tasty grated cheese. The product is baked at the Fazer bakery in Vantaa. Available in shops from 08/01/2024.

Freeze bread and reduce waste

Food waste, in terms of bread in particular, is a big source of frustration for most Finns (85%).* Check the back of the bread packaging to see if the product can be frozen. Then just grab the necessary amount of bread from the freezer the next time you want to enjoy some delicious bread! Freeze the bread when it is fresh, and it will be just as delicious defrosted.
