Celebrating its 130th anniversary this year, Fazer is a long-term supporter of the Helsinki Cup, one of the world’s largest junior football tournaments. Established in 1976, the tournament has promoted the well-being and community spirit of children and young people for decades. Helsinki Cup is a tolerant, non-discriminating and international junior football tournament for girls and boys that respects all its participants.

“Cooperation with the Helsinki Cup tournament fits well with Fazer’s values. Football is a sport that unites people from different backgrounds and allows participation on many different levels. The Helsinki Cup is a great way to support sports for children and young people, but also to highlight Fazer’s wide range of products that provide good energy and good cheer,” says Liisa Eerola, Fazer’s Head of Communications.

Energy and good cheer for the tournament

When we take care of ourselves and also feed our brains with a healthy and balanced diet, rest and exercise, we stay energetic and get excited every day and in every game.

“Favourite brands familiar to Finns – Fazer and Oululainen Reissumies – have their place at the event, adding good cheer and energy. Tasty breakfast and snack products are on offer for both players and supporters: Fazer Alku porridges, Reissumies sandwiches and Fazer Aito and Fazer for Minis oat snacks. This year, there will be more plant-based alternatives available in the kiosks in the tournament area,” says Eerola.

Three of the fields used in the tournament are named after Fazer products: Reissumies, Fazer Aito and Fazer Jyväshyvä fields. There are also two Reissumies-branded kiosks. Reissumies sandwiches can be purchased at all kiosks in the area. You can also come and taste Fazer products, such as the new Fazer for Minis oat crisps, at tasting carts moving around the area. Tournament participants also have the chance to win tasty product prizes in competitions at the Love The Ball Center truck moving around the area. These include the Reissumies Wheel of Fortune and the Fazer dice throwing competition.
