Fazer is Finland's second most reputable company in 2024

According to the Reputation &Trust survey, monitoring the reputation of companies, Fazer is Finland’s second most reputable company in 2024. Finns have named Fazer one of Finland's most reputable companies already for twelve years.

Reputation & Trust surveys the general public’s views on the reputation of companies operating in Finland. In the 2024 survey, Fazer improved its results in three of the eight dimensions of reputation, with the biggest improvements in innovations and dialogue. During the year, the company has, among others, launched the world's first chocolate tablet containing Solein® protein, opened a store piloting sales of food waste products in Lappeenranta, opened three new Fazer Cafés, and actively participated in societal debate. Fazer also received high scores in the dimension assessing financial performance.

"For twelve years, Fazer has been ranked among the ten most reputable companies in Finland. This year's result highlights, in particular, the high score for innovations. Fazer has clearly succeeded in renewing itself and bringing innovations close to everyday life in Finland," says Riku Ruokolahti, Development Director at T-Media.

"We are very happy with the results. Building a good reputation is a long-term process that requires transparency and dialogue with all stakeholders. This year has been challenging in many ways, and the price pressure on chocolate products and the current tax discussions, for example, have affected our operations. However, I believe that operating as openly, transparently and socially sustainably as possible supports building – and maintaining – reputation even in challenging times. Reputation & Trust 2024 surveyed the general public’s views on the reputation of 30 companies operating in Finland. 10,575 Finns participated in the survey in June and July 2024. For each company included in the survey, a reputation rating is calculated as an average of eight critical dimensions of reputation. The dimensions are governance, financial performance, leadership, innovations, dialogue, products & services, workplace and responsibility.
