Lovely Christmas calendars in even more sustainable packaging
The cardboard box of chocolate Christmas calendars requires an additional layer to protect the chocolate. Usually, this layer is made of plastic. In the Christmas calendars of 2022, Fazer is replacing the plastic layer with a recyclable and biodegradable protective film. The new protective film makes the calendar’s recycling easier as the whole packaging can be recycled. In addition, it decreases the use of plastic by up to 1,200 kg a year.
