Fazer’s novelty sweets and biscuits for the spring
As we head towards summer, consumer behaviour changes. People become more spontaneous, and their approach to sweet treats becomes lighter, more cheerful, and more sociable than at other times of year. Moments of indulgence reflect looser routines, happy summer experiences, and shared joy. Fazer’s summer treats fit every aspect of Finnish summer to a T – from sunny days on the beach to rainy days curled up on the sofa. New Tutti Frutti sweets add colour and joy to the summer, and the new flavours in the seasonal Dumle mix provide true bursts of delight. Fazer’s beloved family of Crunchy chocolate bars will be joined by the new Dumle Crunchy Salty Caramel, while biscuit lovers will encounter new Domino flavours in the grocery aisle: the brownie-flavoured Domino Mokkapala and bilberry-pie-flavoured Domino Mustikkapiirakka, as voted for by consumers.
As spring arrives and the days grow brighter, many people also notice changes in their behaviour. Routines are dropped more readily, and new experiences are met with more curiosity. Consumers also seek out products that support their summer experience: scents, tastes and sights associated with summer. Attitudes towards treats are much more laid back than at other times of year, and grocery shoppers are more likely to head to the aisles stocked with delicious new flavour experiences that they can bring on picnics with friends, trips to the beach, or hiking trips, and enjoy at cosy times on the sofa.
Fazer’s new sweets for summer 2023
The Tutti Frutti summer of all time
The Finnish summer is meant to be lived and enjoyed to the fullest. A cheerful, colourful and varied Tutti Frutti mix is to summer what birch branches are to Finnish Midsummer: the final touch to complete the mood. Tutti Frutti Flower Power 325 g makes the summer blossom with fresh fruity flavours like rhubarb and pear, mixed with trendy floral notes and vegan chocolate dragées. Tutti Frutti Flower Power is gelatine-free and suitable for vegans, and it only contains natural colours and flavours. The generous bag contains plenty of treats to go around.
Tutti Frutti Sour Splash 230 g is a brand new mix of soft sweets with yoghurt filling. It contains four delicious sour-sugared flavours to tempt those with a taste for tangy sweets: mango, strawberry and lime, raspberry, and liquorice. The smaller bag is a great fit for a more intimate gathering – or a spot of self-indulgence.
Our limited edition bag for summer 2023 is Tutti Frutti Mixed Fruits 160 g. It contains four different fruit-flavoured sweets: vanilla, coconut, raspberry, and pineapple. Combined, they remind those with a more grown-up pallet of two tasty summer favourites, piña colada and grenadine. Tutti Frutti Mixed Fruits is gelatine-free and suitable for vegans, and it only contains natural colours and flavours. The bag’s smaller size means it is also the perfect mix to be enjoyed alone. Tutti Frutti Mixed Fruits will be available for a limited time only, from June to August.
Tutti Frutti Berry bar 20 g is the perfect Tutti Frutti treat for a smaller craving. The Tutti Frutti Berry bar combines a fresh strawberry coating with a soft berry-packed filling. The bar is suitable for vegans and only contains natural colours and flavours.

Fazer’s Crunchy bars are beloved far and wide, and this summer, they will be joined by an eagerly awaited new flavour. Dumle Crunchy Salty Caramel 55 g is the perfect Crunchy bar: a boldly crispy and hearty treat that will satisfy even the strongest hankering for something sweet. The new
Crunchy flavour features salted caramel inside, topped with crispy salty granules and smooth milk chocolate.
Remix Summer Carnival to delight bigger parties
Remix Summer Carnival 500 g is the perfect summer mix. The generous bag is bursting with delicious and colourful flavours from pineapple to cherry and liquorice to cola, and there are plenty of sweets to share. It is the optimal choice for a picnic, a summer day on the beach, or a weekend at the summer cottage! Remix Summer Carnival is available for a limited time only, from June to August.
The soft and fiery Tyrkisk Peber
Tyrkisk Peber is a salty liquorice classic that has been a huge success since it was first launched in 1977. The traditional Tyrkisk Peber already has a staunch fanbase, while the new Tyrkisk Peber Chili Pebers 120 g offers a novel and enticing experience for all lovers of spicy flavours. The Tyrkisk Peber Chili Pebers bag contains three differently flavoured fruity sweets with varying degrees of fieriness, from the mildest (ginger, lime and chili) to the hottest combination (strawberry, salty liquorice and chili). Suitable for vegans.
These peppery fruit-flavoured sweets that pack the perfect punch are also available in the pick & mix section. The Tyrkisk Peber Chili Pebers 2.2 kg box contains the same three flavours as the bag.
Delightful Dumle favourites for the summer
Dumle Summer Mix 180 g is this summer’s favourite bag of sweets, full of delicious seasonal flavours to turn up the summer mood. This year, the consumers got to vote on the content of the limited edition bag. Fazer asked 8,000 members of the MyFazer community which flavours they would like to taste in the Dumle mix for summer 2023. The popular classic Dumle Banana will be joined by two new flavours: the soft Dumle Vanilla and the fresh Dumle Raspberry.
New fresh sugar-free pastilles
Fazer Salmiakki is a classic that needs no introduction. Fazer Salmiakki Veriappelsiini 40 g offers a tasty combination of authentic salty liquorice and fruity blood orange. The small box is convenient to bring along. These fresh and delicious new pastilles are sugar-free and suitable for vegans.
Playful novelty chewing gums
The Xylimax family of xylitol chewing gum products will be joined by two new flavours. Xylimax Taste of Mojito xylitol chewing gum 38 g and Xylimax Taste of Energy Drink xylitol chewing gum 38 g are playful takes on current trends, specially designed to appeal to young and young-at-heart consumers. The small bag is convenient to slip in the pocket or bag and carry with you.
Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate celebrates its 100th anniversary with a crunchy biscuit companion
In the summer of 2023, Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate meets crunchy biscuit to create a delicious new chocolate tablet. The Karl Fazer Rouhea Keksi chocolate tablet 180 g has been eagerly requested by consumers, and this popular treat is now returning to our selection. The casually indulgent chocolate tablet is an enticing combination of melt-in-your-mouth milk chocolate and crunchy biscuit pieces.
Summer favourite now available as a chocolate tablet
Many have wanted the Mango Yoghurt flavour of Karl Fazer pralines to become available as a chocolate tablet. We are now meeting consumers’ requests with the Karl Fazer Mango Yoghurt chocolate tablet 121 g, which marries a deliciously fruity mango yoghurt filling with Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate that melts in the mouth. The tablet’s smaller size makes it the perfect companion for a cup of coffee, for example.
This summer’s tastiest praline features a mellow and tempting pear filling
In the new Karl Fazer Pear Yoghurt praline, a summery fresh pear yoghurt filling is enveloped in soft milk chocolate. The Karl Fazer Pear Yoghurt 270 g box of chocolates is an excellent choice when you need a summery gift, a treat to have with coffee on the terrace, or a little sweet to brighten a rainy day. The product is available for a limited time only.

In summer, shoppers with a sweet tooth pick both sweets and biscuits in their basket. Biscuits are a staple of summer outings and a fitting complement to a hot coffee or a refreshing cold drink. Even everyday coffee breaks can be livened up by the addition of a delicious biscuit.
Domino celebrates its 70th anniversary with novelty flavours selected by Finnish fans
The beloved Domino biscuit family is turning 70 in 2023. To mark this milestone, members of the MyFazer community got to vote on new flavours, and these consumer favourites are about to hit the shops. Domino Mokkapala 350 g combines the delicious Domino biscuit with Finland’s favourite baked treat: the chocolate brownie. Domino Mokkapala biscuits are an ideal casual treat for the whole family, suitable for vegans and baked without palm oil.
The flavour that placed second in the consumer vote was a true summer icon: bilberry pie. This summer’s Jaffa flavour is Aarrearkku

This season’s playful new flavour is Jaffa Aarrearkku 300 g, based on the Aarrearkku mix of sweets and voted the MyFazer community’s favourite. The sweet and fruity filling is beautifully paired with a smooth milk chocolate topping and soft biscuit.
