Fazer statement on fraudulent recruitment advertisements in Ukraine and Belarus

It has been brought to our attention that unauthorised and fraudulent advertisements to recruit employees to work at Fazer in Finland are being done in Ukraine and Belarus.  In these advertisements, people are asked to pay money to cover different expenses related to the employment e.g. visa applications. After paying, the so-called recruitment agency can no longer be reached. Fazer’s name and the signatures of our management personnel are being used in these advertisements without our knowledge or permission. These advertisements are not for real jobs, they are perpetrated by criminals who want to steal money.
