Froosh launches a trio of tasty smoothies for breakfast moments in new family-sized packs

Froosh’s selection of high-quality smoothies has expanded with three new, delicious smoothies, developed especially for breakfast moments. The novelty smoothies, made from 100% fruit – not from concentrate – and with no added sugar, are packed in practical and lightweight 750ml cardboard packages, which are easy to carry and recycle. The larger package sizes make the novelties particularly suitable for families. The products are now available in stores throughout Finland.

“Smoothies are consumed as much at home as on-the-go1). We wanted to offer consumers tasty and easy options for the breakfast table in practical and generous packages that serves the whole family”, says Erika Jureskog, Brand Manager of Froosh.

Froosh smoothies are made from 100% fruit, and they do not contain additives or added sugar, making them an easy way to enjoy fruits. The novelties also contain added vitamin C and D.

“These Froosh novelties are a ready-made tasty breakfast option also for those mornings, when there’s no time for breakfast. And added vitamins never hurt us here in the North”, Jureskog continues.  

Three new, fresh and vitamin added flavours perfect for the breakfast table
 

Froosh Smoothie Strawberry, Blackcurrant and Apple, 750 ml, combines the berry flavours of strawberry and blackcurrant with sweet apple. The product contains added vitamin C and D.

 

Froosh Smoothie Mango, Passion Fruit and Apple, 750 ml, combines the sweet flavours of mango and passion fruit with fresh apple. The product contains added vitamin C and D.

 

Froosh Smoothie Apple, Pear and Elderflower, 750 ml, adds a hint of elderflower to the sweet flavours of apple and pear. The product contains added vitamin C and D.

  

 

From glass bottles to carton packages

 

The Froosh novelties are packed in practical and lightweight carton packages, which are easy to recycle. The carbon footprint of the packages is up to 82%2) smaller than that of a recyclable glass bottle of the same size. What’s more, the package is 91%2) lighter than a same size glass bottle, which makes it easier to bring home from the store.

 

Fazer is committed to reducing its carbon dioxide emissions by 42% by the end of 2030, compared to 2020. Sustainable packaging is one of the focus areas in all Fazer businesses. Froosh has already switched its three functional smoothies from glass bottle to more environmentally friendly carton packages, and now with this change, the entire 750 ml range will move to carton packaging.
